Student Services
Central School of Practical Nursing has a wide array of services available to help students in their personal and academic lives.
Our Director of Student Services is a Licensed Professional Counselor and works with students on any number of concerns:
- Study skills
- Stress
- Time management
- Academic failure
- Tutoring
- Feelings of isolation
- Interpersonal problems
- Family concerns
- Relationship issues
In addition, the Student Services Office coordinates social events for students (pizza parties, t-shirt sales, etc.) and publishes a monthly newsletter, The Central Source.
The Director of Student Services is available for individualized, professional résumé service and also assists graduating students with cover letters, applications, etc. (For more information on employment, see Job Market).
