Advanced Placement
Individuals who have previously obtained college credit for courses required by Central School of Practical Nursing may be eligible for advanced placement in the following areas:
- Anatomy & Physiology I & II
- Nutrition
- Human Growth and Development
Students requesting advanced placement in any of the above subjects must have achieved a grade of "C" or better and the course must have been taken within three (3) years. An official transcript documenting course completion must be submitted to the Admissions & Promotions committee for evaluation before the student starts the program.
In addition, the student must pass with a score of 77% or higher a comprehensive examination in the course(s) for which they are requesting advanced placement. There is a non-refundable fee of $25 per test.
Tuition will be adjusted for those students who are advanced placed. Please see the financial officer for details.
